2009-2010 PTA Officers

Tina McGann,
President

I have been married for 8 years to my husband Jack. I have a son Garrett who is 7 years old and he is going into 2nd grade. I also have twin boys, Carter & Brady. They are 5 years old and will be in Kindergarten this year. I am originally from Boston, Massachusetts and have lived here in Washington for 9 years. I love to camp, fish, go to the beach and watch my boys play sports. I became involved with the PTA because I wanted to be involved with my children’s education and also to help the other children and teachers here at Black Diamond Elementary.

Danielle McOuat,
Treasurer

I have 2 children, Ian and Dalton. Ian is 7 years old and is going into 2nd grade and Dalton is 4 years old and will be going into Kindergarten in 2010. We live in Selleck and really enjoy it. I have been in banking for 15 years and still work as a teller on Saturdays. I enjoy reading, scrapbooking and being involved in Cub Scouts. I became involved in the PTA when Ian was in Kindergarten. I really enjoy helping the children, and staff at BDES.

Dianna Perry,
Secretary

Hello, my name is Dianna Perry. Mckayla is in Mrs. Ryerse’s class and Tyler is in Mrs. Davis’ class. I enjoy camping with the family, hiking, bike riding, scrapbooking and snowmobiling. I have been a member of Black Diamond Elementary PTA for 6 years. I am very proud of our school and to serve on the PTA Board and look forward to being a part of a great school year.

Heather Invie-Notch,
Vice President

My name is Heather Invie-Notch. I am the mom of Griffin, in 6th grade at Thunder Mtn Middle School, and McKenzie in 3rd grade with Mrs. Fitzpatrick. I am also a step mom to Maria who is in 8th grade at TMMS. I am married, live in Morgan Creek and have a one year old black lab named Remi. I work in the Snoqualmie for a company that makes robots - which is pretty cool. I love my family, hiking, biking, camping, living in Black Diamond, this school, the staff at BDE and being a part of the PTA. My favorite PTA activities are the Science Fair, the Adopt-a-Road and the Mariners games!

Karrie Hildebrand, Membership Chair
I have been happily married to the most amazing man, Chad, for the past eight years. We have two wonderful boys, Cole is 7 and Kade is 4. Besides being a mom, I also work full time for a software company called Continuex, we write and support software for health care. I’ve been with Continuex for ten years now. My husband and I enjoy playing soccer on a co-ed team together, and now we’re very excited that we get to watch our boys learn and enjoy the sport! We also enjoy camping together as a family, and taking as many fun vacations as we can! I joined the PTA when Cole started Kindergarten (he’s in 2nd grade now) because I wanted to take an active role in my son’s education. I wanted to be involved in helping to support our school and our teachers so that all of our kids have a better chance at a good education. I believe we do that because our PTA is able to do things like bring in the “Pacific Science Center science day”, and provide technology to our classrooms (like the ELMO’s and the books on tape machines), and many other things, both large and small. Being involved with the BDE PTA has been a great experience for me because I believe WE DO make a difference in the lives of our children, and also because I have been able to make some good friends, as well as get more involved in our community.
