2011-2012 PTA Officers

Jen Leatham,
President

Hi! I'm Jen Leatham. My husband, Chad, and I have been married 13 years. Our daughter, Grace, is in Mr. Kurtz's 3rd Grade Class this year. In 1999, we bought our little home here in town that was built in 1906. We are so blessed to be part of a small, but amazing school community where I know everyday when I drop Grace off she is as loved and cared for at school as she is at home. I am looking forward to a great year in the PTA building relationships and helping create a safe place for our children and families to come everyday! You can reach me at my email at jen.leatham.pta@msn.com or my cell phone number is 253-632-6545.

Peace and Joy! - Jen

Karrie Hildebrand,
Treasurer

Hello! My name is Karrie Hildebrand, and I am proud to be this year’s PTA Treasurer. I am happily married to my husband, Chad, for the past 10 years. We have three wonderful boys, and our fourth child is due in March! Our oldest, Cole, is 9 and is in 4th grade this year. Our second son, Kade, is 6 and in 1st grade. Carson, our third son, was just born in April! We’re hoping this fourth (and final!) baby will be a little girl, but if we have another boy we’ll still love him just as much as the others! Our family loves to spend as much time together as possible. We like to travel to wonderful places like Maui and Mexico, as well as go camping all over the beautiful state of Washington. And our family is heavily involved in sports. Chad and I both play soccer (I’m also a Commissioner for Washington State Women’s Soccer Assn.), our older boys play baseball, soccer, basketball, and Cole is even trying football this year! I’m also a small business owner of a software company that writes and supports clinical and financial accounting software for healthcare facilities. I hope to see you at our PTA Meetings and/or at the exciting PTA Events scheduled throughout the year!

Tina McGann,
Secretary

I have been married for 10 years to my husband Jack. I have a son Garrett who is 9 years old and he is going into 4th grade. I also have twin boys, Carter & Brady. They are 6 years old and will be in 2nd Grade this year. I am originally from Boston, Massachusetts and have lived here in Washington for 11 years. I love to camp, fish, go to the beach and watch my boys play sports. I became involved with the PTA because I wanted to be involved with my children’s education and also to help the other children and teachers here at Black Diamond Elementary.

Kate Harper,
Vice President

Hello there! My name is Kate Harper. I live in the Morgan Creek Development with my husband, John, and two happy and busy boys. Malcolm is seven years old and is in Mrs. Lindberg's second grade class this year. My little William is five years old and is in Mrs. Evan's full day Kindergarten class.

Our family enjoys camping and riding quads and being with family and friends. I am very exicted to be a part of the Black Diamond Elementary PTA and look forward to all of the upcoming events that happen throughout the school year. I love meeting new people and look forward to working with all of you!

Cheers!

- Kate Harper
